I decided to try and use buildings in the city like Punches hotel closing down and HMV shutting its doors, and i thought it would be interesting to combine this with the growth factors of how the businesses were doing today. So i found on line articles and made little text out of plastic and a laser cutter of the same fonts used in these articles. i then combined it with dark room photography and came up with some pretty cool ideas. However because the text was so small it was very frustrating and by the end of the day i ended up breaking some of my text.

Photoshop Day 2.
So today was my second class of Photoshop. I'm delighted with
the images I created from the photographs I took of my sister last night. Again
investigating the tools in Photoshop I came out with these images.

Little Red House
While i was in cork a few weeks ago I spotted this little red house by the river. Id no access to the house but I found the outside to look very interesting, by the way there was wire running along the wall and the paint was peeling off the walls.

The Body and it's rRepresentation
Photo shop class began today for me. I hadn’t a clue of any
tools but crop and straighten so I began by basically messing around with the
tools and learning what they would do. Our project brief is the body and its
representation so I decided to look at my 13 year old sister who is going through
one of the changes in the life. So my concept for the project brief is ‘Right
of Passage’. Since starting secondary school last year she has had a lot of
visual changes between her looks and as well as her interests. So I photographed
her a few weeks ago and today came out with these images.

Cork
St. Anne's Asylum, St. Kevin's Asylum, Cork.
Both asylums were brought together in 1852, to create a large 500 bedded Lunatic Asylum. Today St Kevin's Asylum stands boarded up and abandoned with nothing happening inside and on the grounds.
However half of St. Anne's has been developed int o apartment blocks with a very visible separation division between them by barriers and fencing's.
